ELM LINEAR MAGNETIC ENCODER is a contacless high-speed linear magnetic encoder designed for use in harsh environments. The ELM-ME features a compact sealed readhead that rides at up to 1.3 mm from the self-adhessive magnetic strip scale, which brings up to 90 m travel.
The encoders come in digital or analogue output variants and offer a range of customer selectable resolutions including 1micron, 2micron, 5micron, 10micron and 50micron. the ELM-ME is capable of velocities up to 25 m/s; even at 1micron resolution is is capable of 4 m/s.
